AIM coming to iPhone in June

AOL is the latest company to hop onto the iPhone SDK bandwagon, with an announcement that they will officially distribute the popular AOL Instant Messenger for the Apple iPhone in version 2.0. Apart from the obligatory features (chat, buddy icon, etc.), the iPhone version of AIM will support an “invisible” mode, and the ability to swipe between multiple conversations.

For those of you who just can’t wait to get your mobile AIM fix, we recommend jailbreaking your iPhone and installing MobileChat, a near-perfect chat client that supports multiple accounts from different services, including AIM. You can find more about MobileChat here.
